Non-resident Card Fee
New fee effective July 1, 2015
Effective July 1, 2015, the new fee for a non-resident library card will be $155.00*. This is a one-year card for the entire household.
Here is just a little of what your $155.00 (which = $12.92/month) entitles you to:
- A public library open 70 hours/week including 1-4 p.m. on Sundays
- 45,093 books; 34,629 e-books (electronic formats available for adults, teens, & children)
- 4,521 DVDs; 3,541 downloadable movies & t.v. shows
- 8,788,398 downloadable songs (this isn't a type-o)
- Easy access to the collections of 470 libraries in central and southern Illinois through SHARE (automated circulation system)
- Programs with crafts, movie showings, live entertainment...for all ages
- Inter-library loan for materials not available in SHARE
- 10 computers and 12 laptops available for public use

*By Illinois State Law the non-resident fee must be at least the average paid by City of Jerseyville taxpayers and paid in one payment.
