Ribbon Cutting Held @ JPL

Redesigned children's area unveiled.
Ribbon Cutting Held @ JPL

On Friday, May 15 at 4:00 p.m. the Jerseyville PL unveiled it's newly redesigned Children's Area.  A large crowd of children and adults attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Representatives who made Angel Donations, $1,000 or more, to the Jerseyville Public Library cut the ribbon.  There were four Angel Donations: the Marguerite Davis family, the Becky Zipprich Mulvaney family, Jersey County Farm Bureau Foundation/JCHS FFA, and the Friends of the Library.

With their donations library staff has created a wonderful, new play area for your children.  It includes kid furniture, a vertical lego board, craft corner, two computers with fun, educational programs such as Tumblebooks and ABC Mouse, a dinosaur train table and much more.  Staff painted the entire room and re-purposed existing pieces to give them a jazzy, new look.

Bring you children in soon to enjoy their new area.  But, make sure you allow enough time, they will want to stay.
