Disney/Pixar PrintsCan you guess who the Disney or Pixar character is by his/her hand and footprints? Each week we'll display a new character. Turn in your guess at the front desk for a chance to win a prize. Make a Book CommercialLet's get creative! Record a 30-second commercial about your favorite book. Send the finished product to lauriei@jerseyvillelibrary.org. We will post your commercial to Facebook and the library marketing t.v. The winning commercial will receive a $50 JCBA certificate that can be used at several places in Jersey County! Winner drawn July 22.

Reading Challenge #1Each circle in your reading log represents 15 minutes of reading. Fill in 5 circles each week and win a small prize. Reading Challenge #2Complete the reading challenge and earn tickets for a chance to win bigger prizes--like books or toys! 1. Every 15 minutes you read, mark off a circle. 2. When you fill in all your circles, turn in your reading log and receive your tickets. (12 tickets) 3. Fill in the information on your tickets. 4. Drop your tickets into the bag next to the prizes you would like to try to win. Prizes will be set up in the meeting room starting July 23 @ 6 p.m. Tickets must be turned in by 10 a.m. on July 25! 5. You may try to earn more tickets -- up to 24 -- by reading more. Each hour will earn you 1 more ticket. 6. A list of prizes will hopefully be available by July 15 for those unable to redeem their tickets in person. You can also keep track of reading & activities digitally using the Beanstack® app or website. More information can be found on the flier in your registration bag. |
Arts & Crafts
Kindergarten comes on Wednesdays @ 10 a.m; Grades 1-5 come on Wednesdays @ 1 p.m. June 19 is Picture Day for the autograph book. ALL OTHER CRAFT DAYS WILL BE MESSY; please dress your children accordingly. Thank you.
Friday Events (for K - Grade 5)--Registration Required!
You will be allowed to register for 1 event. Any remaining openings will be announced and filled on June 19.
