      JERSEY COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
    The Jersey County Historical Society is a non-profit organization, located in beautiful southwestern Illinois, dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing historical artifacts, records and family genealogies from Jersey County’s rich past.  Its three-acre site includes the Cheney Mansion, Lone Star School, McAdams and Plummer log
    cabins and Union Forest Church, as well as a genealogy research center and a museum that includes a transportation room, seven domestic rooms, a brides' room, and a military room. The Flautt Addition of our museum houses many interesting artifacts and collections, including an extensive collection of Native American relics and a mammoth bone and tooth.

     PRAIRIE COUNCIL ON AGING
    Prairie Council on Aging is a multi-faceted agency whose purpose is to provide an array of services to persons sixty and over, with emphasis on those persons who have greatest social need or greatest economic need, to help them stay in their own homes, independently for as long as possible, safely.

      RED CROSS/Southwestern Illinois Chapter Your local Southwestern Illinois Chapter was originally chartered in 1917 and has been providing American Red Cross services locally for over 95 years.
