The SBDC Day runs from 10 am to 2 pm with a one-hour Quickbooks training workshop, presented at 12 p.m. (noon). The workshop costs only $10 for comprehensive overview of the software and how it can help your business and serve many functions of a traditional bookkeeper with less cost and more control.

This event not only acts as a service to the Jerseyville small business community but also offers an effective way for the staff of the Illinois Small Business Development Center to connect and introduce small businesses throughout the Metro East. The Illinois Small Business Development Center is a great resource for networking as well as business counseling and referrals. We strive to connect small businesses within the Metro East community in order to create a symbiotic business environment for all business owners in the nine county region we serve.

Attendees wanting to meet privately for their no-cost counseling session with Ms. Guntren are encouraged to request an appointment by calling the SBDC directly at (618)650-2929. The office is open weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can also register for the Quickbooks training workshop at https://conta.cc/2QmJAkg.

The Metro East SBDC assists entrepreneurs as well as existing business owners operating in the nine-county Metro East region of Calhoun, Jersey, Madison, Bond, Clinton, St. Clair, Washington, Monroe and Randolph. It enhances the region’s economic interests by providing one-stop assistance to individuals by means of counseling, training, research and advocacy for new ventures and existing small businesses.
